Terms of Service
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms apply to the Shelfcrew website, the waitlist and the Shelfcrew platform. Please read them before you use Shelfcrew. If you don't agree, don't use it.
1. About Shelfcrew
1.1 Shelfcrew is a trade name of BOKW Commerce, Brinkweg 2, 7076 BJ Varsselder, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 95817506, VAT NL005175287B47 ("Shelfcrew", "we", "us").
1.2 Shelfcrew is software that helps brands selling on Amazon work with content creators: briefs, sample requests, video submissions, launching approved videos as Meta ads, measuring their Amazon sales with Amazon Attribution, and paying creators a commission on those sales.
1.3 In these terms, a Brand is a business that sells its own products on Amazon, as a professional seller enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry or as a vendor through Vendor Central, and uses Shelfcrew to run a creator program; an Agency is a business that uses Shelfcrew on behalf of Brands; a Creator is a person who makes content for Brands through Shelfcrew; and Content is any video, image, text or other material a Creator submits.
2. The waitlist and the pilot
2.1 Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't oblige you or us to anything. We decide who is invited to the pilot and when.
2.2 During the pilot, features may change, be limited or stop, and some features depend on approvals from Amazon and Meta. If we agree separate written terms with you for the pilot, those terms take priority over these.
3. Accounts
3.1 You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use Shelfcrew for a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business to these terms.
3.2 Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@getshelfcrew.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
3.3 The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
4. Brands and Agencies
4.1 You may connect only Amazon and Meta accounts that you own or are authorized to manage. By connecting your Amazon Ads account through Login with Amazon, you authorize Shelfcrew to access the Amazon data described on our Security page, for the purposes described there. You can disconnect at any time.
4.2 You remain responsible for complying with the terms and policies of Amazon (including Amazon Ads, Amazon Attribution, Brand Registry, the Brand Referral Bonus and Amazon's customer review policies) and Meta, and with the laws that apply to your products and advertising.
4.3 You must not offer samples, payments or anything else in exchange for Amazon customer reviews, or make a sample or commission depend on a review, rating or review removal.
4.4 You set the commission rate and other terms for each Creator in your brief. You agree to fund the commissions that become payable under those terms, and to pay our fees as shown in your account or agreed with us. Fees are exclusive of VAT.
4.5 Your briefs and product claims must be accurate and lawful. You are responsible for the products you send to Creators and for the claims your ads make.
4.6 An Agency that uses Shelfcrew for a Brand confirms it has that Brand's authorization, and is responsible for its own users.
5. Creators
5.1 Your Content must be your own original work, must not infringe anyone's rights, and must be truthful about the product and your experience of it. You must have permission from anyone who appears in it.
5.2 You must clearly disclose your relationship with a Brand wherever the law or a platform requires it, for example under the FTC guides in the US or the Dutch Advertising Code. Meta Partnership Ads show a "Paid partnership" label.
5.3 Samples are provided so you can make Content, not in exchange for reviews. Don't post an Amazon customer review of a product you received through Shelfcrew unless Amazon's rules clearly allow it.
5.4 Use only the tracked link Shelfcrew provides for a video. Don't add Amazon Associates links or other tracking to Shelfcrew ads, and don't generate artificial clicks, purchases or other activity. Commissions from fraudulent or manipulated activity are not payable and may be reversed.
5.5 You keep ownership of your Content. When a Brand approves it, you give that Brand a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, edit and publish it in advertising and on the Brand's own channels for the period and uses stated in the brief or, if the brief says nothing, for 12 months. You also authorize the Brand to run it as a Meta Partnership Ad from your handle, which you confirm in Meta.
6. Commissions and payouts
6.1 Commissions are calculated from the Amazon Attribution results that Amazon reports for the tags of your approved Content, at the rate the Brand set. Amazon's reports can be delayed or adjusted, for example after returns or cancellations, and commissions follow those adjustments. We are not responsible for how Amazon measures or reports results.
6.2 Payouts are made through our payment provider, on the schedule shown in your account, once the Brand has funded them. You must complete the payment provider's onboarding to receive payouts.
6.3 Creators are responsible for their own taxes and for declaring their income.
7. Amazon, Meta and other third parties
7.1 Shelfcrew is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon or Meta. Their services are governed by their own terms.
7.2 Amazon decides who is eligible for programs like the Brand Referral Bonus and what they pay. Any estimate we show is not a promise of results.
7.3 Features that rely on Amazon or Meta may change or stop when their APIs, approvals or policies change. We will tell you when that affects you.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Shelfcrew unlawfully, or to infringe anyone's rights;
- give false information or impersonate someone else;
- try to access another account's data, or scrape, overload or interfere with Shelfcrew;
- use Shelfcrew to manipulate Amazon reviews, rankings, Attribution data or bonuses;
- upload malicious code or illegal, misleading or harmful Content;
- harass other users or our staff.
9. Our intellectual property
Shelfcrew's software, design, texts and name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-transferable right to use Shelfcrew while your account is active. Feedback you send us may be used to improve Shelfcrew without obligation to you.
10. Privacy and data
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, and Amazon data as described on our Security page. Where we process personal data on a Brand's behalf, we do so on its instructions and will sign a data processing agreement on request.
11. Liability
11.1 Shelfcrew is provided with reasonable care, but we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any Content or ad will produce a particular result.
11.2 To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, or €100 if that is higher. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost sales, Amazon or Meta account restrictions, or third-party claims.
11.3 These limits don't apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or to any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11.4 You will indemnify us against third-party claims, including reasonable legal costs, arising from your Content, your products or ads, or your breach of these terms.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Shelfcrew and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account if you breach these terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud, or if Amazon or Meta requires it. Where reasonable, we tell you first. Commissions that were validly earned before termination remain payable.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may close your account before then.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the district where BOKW Commerce is established, unless mandatory law gives you the right to go to another court. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
